swim, bike, run, HAVE FUN!
Each PTC Club Member receives an annual membership card that identifies her/him as an active PTC member. The membership card can be used at all club sponsors for designated discounts.
Exclusive Sponsor Discounts
Each of the PTC Club Sponsors offers 10%-20% discounts to our members. Your membership card identifies each sponsor and the related discount.
Members Only Forum
The Members Only Forum is where you can go to network with fellow club members, discuss training, post events and travel, post items for sale or just talk multisport stuff.
Free Club Gear
Throughout the year our sponsors provide product to be distributed to our club members. The product is raffled off at each Monthly General Membership Meeting and the raffle is free and open to all current club members in attendance. Some examples of the products raffled are: Clif Product (bars, shot, and blocks), Rudy Project glasses and helmets, TriSports.com gift certificates, Framin’ Works gift certificates, Suacony Shoes, Nathan Hydration product, and the list goes on and on.
At each Monthly General Membership Meeting you will hear from experts in the Triathlon Community – from Pro’s like Melanie McQuaid or Brad Kearns, Coaches like Brian Grasky or Anne Wilson, Physical therapists like Matt Kraemer from Endurance Rehab, Nutritionist, World Class Endurance Runners, etc.
In addition you will never run out of “expert” advice from your fellow club members. The one thing you will find with all PTC members is that they are all willing to share their thoughts on training, racing, and race events.
The PTC is one of the biggest support groups you will ever find. We have a great group of people that will keep you motivated and wanting more.
Between the club training events, the club forum, and the monthly meetings you can always find a group to train with.
The PTC will also select specific races each year as “club” races – usually a sprint/Olympic distance, Xterra, and 70.3/Ironman event. Each of these events will have a training plan that goes with the selected event and a race leader to coordinate the training and help everyone reach their goal.
_____________________________ Each year the PTC will select one to two sprint events specifically for beginner triathletes (New2Tri). We will have a specific training plan to help the New2Tri member learn about and train for the race. On the day of the event many of the supported team and board members will be at the event to assist with everything from transition set up, last minute jitters, to finish line celebration. The goal of the PTC is for each New2Tri member to have a fun and rewarding time at their first event and leave them wanting more and to continue on in the triathlon world. The New2Tri training programs can be viewed on the training page under New2Tri Training Programs.
Triathlon for Beginners
At each monthly meeting a board member or supported team member will introduce all new members/guests to the club. They will explain the history of the club, introduce them to other club members that may have things in common with them, and make them feel comfortable.
Triathlon is our passion and we welcome you to join us at our training events, races and club meetings. Weather you area seasoned Ironman veteran or just thinking about doing their very first sprint triathlon, there is a group to train with at the Phoenix Triathlon Club and we invite uou to join us in the sport we live.

Club Training Events
The club hosts organized weekly rides and runs throughout the Valley. There are always two or three different levels offered – Slow to medium and fast paced (as well as short and long distances). All members are welcome and encouraged to come out and join in on the events. Each event has a “no drop” policy and no one will ever be left behind.
In addition to the rides and runs, the club hosts quarterly swim clinics (open water and pool depending on the time of year) as well as Tuesday night track workouts.
